Terms of Use: Dermitri Vision

1. Acceptance of Vision Terms

Dermitri Vision ("Vision Tool") is a specialized feature within the Dermitri platform that uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to analyze digital images of skin. By accessing, uploading images to, or using the Vision Tool, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these specific terms in addition to our General Terms of Service.

2. NOT Medical Advice

You agree that you will not use the Vision Tool as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

3. AI Accuracy & Limitations

The Vision Tool utilizes probabilistic machine learning models. While we strive for high accuracy, the technology is subject to inherent limitations:

• Lighting: Poor, uneven, or colored lighting can drastically skew results.
• Camera Quality: Low resolution or heavy compression filters/beauty modes will affect analysis.
• Skin Tone Bias: While we train on diverse datasets, AI models may vary in performance across different skin tones and types.

We do not guarantee that the analysis will be error-free or 100% accurate. You assume full risk for any actions taken based on the information provided by the Vision Tool.

4. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Vision Tool, you agree NOT to:

• Scan Others Without Consent: You must not upload images of any other person unless you have their explicit legal consent (or are the legal guardian of a minor).
• Upload Non-Human Images: The tool is calibrated for human skin. Do not upload images of animals, objects, or sensitive content.
• Reverse Engineer: You may not attempt to extract the model weights, parameters, or training data from the Vision Tool.

5. User Content & License

By uploading an image (the "Content") to the Vision Tool, you grant Dermitri Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to process that Content solely for the purpose of providing you with the analysis.

We do not claim ownership of your images. Per our Privacy Policy, images are processed in accordance with our data handling practices, which may involve ephemeral cloud processing for analysis.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE VISION TOOL IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. DERMITRI LABS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
